West Palm Beach with Hunter Fan Co.

Hi friends!

Long time no blog! I took a little break from blogging when we started working heavily on the kitchen! It has taken so much of my time, I just couldn’t focus on anything else! Now that the finish line is in sight, I’m so excited to be blogging and sharing again!

No better way to break my blog silence than to tell you all about an amazing media trip I got to take with Hunter Fan Co! If you aren’t familiar with Hunter, they are basically the OG’s in the ceiling fan industry! They actually made the first ceiling fan, and they have been putting out amazing products ever since!

The Hunter team took a trip down to West Palm Beach, Forida and took along a a group of crazy talented bloggers! I was so lucky to be one of them and we embarked on a weekened of inspiration hunting in one of the most beautiful cities in the U.S! We got to shop at the best places, ate the best food, soaked up all the inspo, and ended up being able to design a fan of our own!

Let me tell you, if you are a blogger, there’s nothing better than traveling with bloggers. . . there’s always someone more than willing to take your pics! These are the crazy talented gals I worked with all weekend! (left to right) Kari, Kristi , Cara, Sara, Me, Lauren & Nichol!

I arrived in West Palm and headed straight to our hotel, The Hilton, West Palm Beach! I was so blown away! I had a beautiful and spacious private suite overlooking the hilton pool! The hunter team had left a beautfiul welcome package and I definitely took advantage of my fresh coconut water with a little splash of rum of course! I didn’t spend a ton of time at the hotel because we were so busy, but I definitely made sure to have a late night hot tub dip with some of the gals!

One of the main reasons for the trip was the “Huntervention!” The Hunter Fan team had actually redone a local west palm beach Airbnb! The Airbnb was beautiful to start, but the team came in and swapped out a few things, added a few things, and of course installed some of the newest Hunter fans to put the space over the top! They definitely accomplished what they set out to, and the rental is absolutely stunning! Here’s a quick sneak peak of the beautiful space and the gorgeous fans they used to elevate it!

Florida is so hot it’s insane! I’m a Colorado girl and had no idea how crazy the humidity was! We walked in and you could instantly feel how cool and comfortable the fans kept the Airbnb! The fan in the kitchen is the Advocate low profile fan in soft white! It’s so sleek and and modern and the neutral colors make it so it can go in almost any space!

I think my favorite room was the living room! I love all the texture and patterns and color! The hunter team made the perfect choice by putting the Hunter Fan Co X Pendleton Spider Rock Fan in this space! The pattern is so fun and the drop rod is so sophisticated!

The Airbnb had two bedrooms! Hunter fans adorned the ceilings in both! This one pictured below is the Norden in satin copper and another one of my favorites that Hunter Fan produces! The shape is so fun, and to top it off, it’s the prettiest shades of blush and copper! It went perfectly in this blushy room!

The second guest bedroom is just as beautiful as the first, but with a totally different vibe! This is the Loki fan in polished nickle!! It mixes metal finishes and natural woods to create a versatile and eclectic piece! So beautiful and sophisticated in this space!

Fans are not just for the outdoors, guys! This beauty is the Havoc and I was amazed at how powerful it was! It keeps the air moving and the bugs away! They have so many options for outdoor fans, but this one was so perfect on this West Palm Beach patio!

As well as the ‘Huntervention’, we were all participating in a challenge as well! The Hunter team asked us to all help and design a new fan! We broke off into teams and headed out to gather inspo around the city!

One of my absolute favorite places that we went to was the Restoration Hardware flagship store! It was an absolute dream and showcased all of the newest RH products! Each room you walk into is styled to perfection! Kari and I walked around and took pictures of things that inspired us and looked at the newest trends! We discussed which materials we were loving and came up with a basic idea of what we wanted our fan to look like!

We left and shopped around downtown and took in all the Palm Beach shopping scenes! We also went to the cutest boutique called “The Hive” it was filled with lots of natural textures, soft colors and felt so Palm Beach!

I think that one of the best places to pull inspo is from nature and architecture, so what better way to combine the two than with a bike tour! I honestly was scared when I heard that was on the agenda! I haven’t ridden a bike in years, but it was really one of the highlights of the trip! We rode around and took in the beautiful ocean scenes and the stunning old world architecture! Here’s my all time favorite West Palm Beach home!

We also visited the Norton Museum of Art in west palm beach! The gallery was filled with amazing art and sculptures and some of the most well known artists in the world! We toured and soaked in all of the amazing work and then headed back to the Airbnb to finish up our designs!

Kari and I have totally different styles! She is farmhouse and I am eclectic contemporary! I think that was my favorite part about working with her; coming up with a fan that we would both put in our home! We both fell in love with all the crystal and Lucite at Restoration hardware! We decided to incorporate that into our fan as well as antique brass! Its a piece that could go into many different styles of home and one that I would definitely have in my space!

In between exploring the city and gathering inspo, shopping and all the craziness, we slowed down a lot to eat some of the best West Palm Beach food! I think that was my favorite part of the trip to be honest! Give me a glass of champagne (or 2) , some good food and great company and I’m a happy gal!

I’ve been home for about 2 months now, but I will remember this trip forever and these gals have become some really great friends! I fell so in love with Hunter Fan Co. on this trip that I had to have a fan of my own!

Stay tuned to see which one I pick and which space I put it in!

Thanks so much to the Hunter Fan Co. team for thinking of me and bringing me along!
